Michael Richard Moss

Michael Moss, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on August 3, 2024, in his home in Houston, Texas at the age of 70. Born on November 11, 1953, to Elmer Sanders Moss, Jr and Lillian Inez George Moss, Michael was known for his quick wit, sense of humor, and love for his family.

Michael married the love of his life, Louise Jones Moss, in 1981, and together they raised two wonderful daughters. Jenny Diane, who is married to James Yarbrough, and Rachel Nicole, who is married to Erwin Garcia. They also raised a foster son, Robert Joseph Christian, who is married to Karen Marie Terpenning. Michael was extremely proud of his children and their accomplishments.

Michael worked in retail management for many years before retiring from Bed Bath & Beyond in 2018. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, reading, playing poker, and pulling pranks on his family and friends. Everyone who knew Michael could count on him for a good laugh or a clever prank.

Michael leaves behind his loving wife, daughters, son, and ten adoring grandchildren: Anthony, Danielle, Cole, Libney, Reuben, Eva, Lila, Lucas, Mikayla, and Dylan. While he will be deeply missed, his memory will continue to bring joy and laughter to all who knew him.
