Michael Leonard Miller, of North Houston, Texas, passed away on June 24, 2017. He was born in Quakertown, Pennsylvania on March 29, 1952. Michael enlisted in the Marines at the age of 17. He deployed to Vietnam at the age of 18 and served as a Diesel Mechanic in the Vietnam War. He was in the Marines from 1969-1975. He later received his GED and became a certified welder.
Michael had a career in Welding for multiple companies in Wisconsin and Texas. He also owned his own business, Burr Oak Welding,
for many years. He had a passion for fishing, welding, nature, friends and family.
He was married to Corazon Quimera Miller for twelve years. He was survived by his children Keith Miller, Anthony Miller, James Dokkebaken, Paula (Miller) Jacobson, and Janine Quimera Miller. Grandchildren Mason Dokkebaken, Collin Jacobson and Owen Jacobson. Brother, David Miller and sister, Stacia (Miller) Helgeson.
He proceeded in death with his father Herman Miller and brother Herman Miller Jr.
Visitation arrangements will be held at 11:00 AM, July 5, 2017 at American Heritage Funeral Home. Military funeral arrangements will be held
at 1:00 PM, July 5, 2017 at American Heritage Funeral Home.
