Michael Rene Flores, age 43, was born on November 9, 1977 in Victoria, Texas to Bertha and Ernest Flores. Michael was a rambunctious kid who loved to play baseball, hang out with his friends, and drive his mama crazy. As a young adult, Mike did not particularly enjoy academics, but he was a very hard worker and loved to stay busy. Later in life, he kept family close by and started a new business with his cousins, helping amputees obtain prosthetic limbs. Mike was a very outgoing person who enjoyed Indy car racing, barbequing, and most importantly spending time with his friends and family.
Michael was preceded in death by his father Ernest Lee Flores, and is survived by his mother Bertha Flores, his daughters Alyssa Marie Flores and Daniella Renae Flores, his sons Brandon Mathew-Allen Flores and Kace Kovax Flores, his siblings: Gabriel Ernest Flores, Christopher Flores (Norma), Erica Lynn Flores (Joe), and Ernest Lee Flores Jr. (Pippa), along with numerous family and friends. Michael passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021 and his lively spirit, bright smile, and joyful voice will be greatly missed. He will forever be in our hearts.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a rosary service to begin promptly at 7:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 10:30 AM at St Patrick Catholic Church, 4918 Cochran St,, Houston, Texas 77009 followed by burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
