Mike was born June 6th, 1951 in Houston, Texas to his late parents Maurice and Evalin Coats. He is survived by his son Michael J. Coats and his wife Brandi, his Grandson Michael G. Coats, his Granddaughter Ashley R. Noeller and husband Jacob, and his Great-Granddaughter Piper, and his son Jonathan R. Coats.
He was known for his love of friendships, his passion for cooking and for fishing. There was no such thing as a stranger to Mike. He was known by everyone. Mike will be deeply missed.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Brookside Funeral Home - Cypress Creek located at 9149 Highway 6 North, Houston, Tx. Service will be at Brookside Funeral Home Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 11:00am. After Wednesday’s services, the family has requested that there be a gathering at R&R Sports Bar & Grill.
Burial service will be announced at later date. As, Mike’s wishes were to be cremated and buried next to his mother, Evalin, at Memorial Oaks.
