Mentor Leal, age 79, of Houston, Texas passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022. Mentor was born February 18, 1942. Mentor is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Ernestina Leal, his children Francisca Perez (Sergio Perez), Mentor Leal Jr. (Silvia Leal), Dinora Leal (Jaime Leal), Mayra Medrano (Hector Medrano). Grandchildren, Erik Leal, Adrian Gonzalez, Evelyn Leal, Miguel Lara, Cristian Leal, Jacquelyn Gonzalez, Jasmine Leal, Hector Medrano Jr., Mireya Leal and Nayeli Medrano. Mentor is also survived by his brothers and sisters.
A visitation for Mentor will be held Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo Navigation, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A rosary service will occur Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 2405 Navigation Blvd, Houston, TX 77003. A committal service will occur Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Historic Hollywood Cemetery, 3506 N. Main St., Houston, TX 77009.
Serving as pallbearers are Adrian Gonzalez, Cristian Leal, Miguel Lara, Hector Medrano Jr., Erik Leal and Mentor Leal Jr.
