Melvin Alvin Miller, Sr. born August 25, 1941 in Van Vleck, Texas entered into eternal rest June 9, 2015. Melvin is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Miller; parents: Fred and Ruby Miller; brothers: Monroe Miller, Ray Miller and Earl Miller; sister, Christine Steel and sister-in-law, Kathie Miller. Left to cherish his precious memories: sons: Melvin Miller Jr. and wife D’Anna, Roger Miller and wife Nina, Fred Miller and wife Andrea; adopted son, James Steel; grandchildren: Crystal, Karen, Scooter, Tammy, Amanda, Lauren, Nathan, Isaiah, Brooke and Blake; great grandchildren: Christopher, Josiah, Khloie, Ryan, Riley, Alexis and Luke; sister, Mabel Merkal and husband Dean; sisters-in-law: Diane Miller and Susan Miller; nieces and nephews: Arthur Miller and wife Shelly, Pattie Miller, Troy Merkal along with many more family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 5-8pm. Funeral Services will be held at 10am, Friday, June 12, 2015 in the Family Chapel of Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
