Melanie C. Scholler, 70, passed away peacefully at home on November 7, 2022. She battled cancer for over a year.
She was born on September 22, 1952 in Houston, the daughter of Frank Paul Cossman and Margie Hartman Cossman.
She was predeceased by her parents and her son, Jason Allen Reichle. She is survived by her husband David Scholler of La Grange, Texas; her sisters Kim Bishop of Cypress, Texas and Shawn Pletsch of Bastrop, Texas; her step daughter Sandi DeWalt and her husband David DeWalt of Overland Park, Kansas; and her grandchildren Haylee Reichle and Paige Reichle of Sealy, Texas: Morgan DeWalt, and Mitchell DeWalt of Kansas City, Missouri.
She will be laid to rest next to her mother in Memorial Oaks Cemetery, Houston. A celebration of her life will be held in La Grange, Texas.
In lieu of flowers it is asked that donations be made to Hospice Brazos Valley.
