Max Dean Ridgway

Max Dean Ridgway, 85, went home to be with the Lord on November 13, 2024 in Magnolia, TX.

Dean was born in Fairfield, Nebraska to Roy and Mamie Ridgway. He grew up in Fairfield, Nebraska and graduated high school in 1957. Shortly after, he moved to Houston, TX. where he married the love of his life, Merle Ridgway. They were happily married for 54 years. He was employed at Stewart & Stevenson as a

purchasing manager for diesel engines for the majority of his career.

He was a member of LifePoint and Equip church for many years. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, horse shoe throwing, watching sports, bible studies and spending time with family. He loved spending time in the Word, and taught others the importance of having a relationship with Jesus. He will be remembered for

his constant faith in Christ, willingness to help others and story-tellling ability.

He is survived by his four children and their spouses, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and his sister Marjory Boudreaux and spouse. He is preceded in death by his wife Merle Ridgway, parents Roy and Mamie Ridgway along with many siblings.

The memorial service will be held on November 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at LifePoint/Gateway Church 38337 Spur 149 Magnolia, TX.77355.

Flowers may be purchased through the funeral home and delivered to the

church the morning of the service..
