Maurine Reeves Blair, 91, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Mrs. Blair was born in Austin, Texas on December 23, 1919 to Clinton G. And Marie L. Reeves. Mrs. Blair was a long time Houston resident and member of the Church of Christ. She was loved by many friends and family. Mrs. Blair is preceded in death by her husband Weldon T. Blair. She is survived by her sons; Harold Blair and his wife Brenda S. and Gerald Blair and his wife Linda, daughter Marilyn Blair Davis and Jim Davis, 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 15, 2011, 5pm – 8pm. at the Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, December 16, 2011, 2pm. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. The family would like to express our thanks to all of her caregivers at Emeritus Assisted Loving and to Giner Greene for her loving care given over the past few months.
