Mary G. Ramirez, age 94, of Houston, Texas passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023. Mary was a very caring and loving person to her family and friends. Casino trips and playing Bingo is what she enjoyed doing. Mary loved to dress up as Santa on Christmas and dress up on Halloween. She also loved cooking tamales for her family, her tamales were the best.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband Porfirio S. Ramirez, grandson Aaron Lopez, parents Regino Gonzales and Trinidad Ramos. Siblings, Regino Gonzales, Alfonso Gonzales (Jessie), Gustavo Gonzales, Aurora G. Kiamar (Bonifacio), Rebecca Gonzales (Raul), Estela Lopez (Andrew) and Elvira Garcia (Frank). Mary is survived by her children Guadalupe Lopez Jr., Anna Marie Zepeda, Linda Ramirez and David Ramirez (Lori). 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren.
A visitation for Mary will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo Navigation, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A rosary service will occur Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from 7:00 pm, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St Patrick Catholic Church, 4918 Cochran St, Houston, TX 77009. A committal service will occur Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
Serving as pallbearers are David Ramirez Jr., Gabriel Ramirez, Anthony Ramirez, Jonathan Castillo, Rene Castillo, Matthew Zepeda, Guadalupe Lopez Jr., David Ramirez, Juan Perez II, Sammy Serrano, Christopher Vega and Daniel Garza.
