Mary JoAnn Parker

Mary JoAnn Parker, age 75, passed away Monday, June 8, 2015. Born in Houston, Texas, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved Houston Sports teams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph R. Parker, Jr.; parents, Bob and Ruby Winton; and brother, Wilson McBee. Survived by children, Sandra Harrison and husband Mark, Stan Parker and wife Debbie, and Robert Parker and wife Pam; grandchildren, Holly Tarasevich and husband John, Kelly Harrison, Stan Parker and wife Ashley, Stephen Parker and wife Amy, Samuel Parker and wife Marlee, Cody Parker, and Tracey Parker; great grandchildren, Adrian Parker, Benjamin Parker, and McKenzie Carroll-Parker; brother, Melvin McBee and wife Mary; sister, Doris Winton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 12, 2015 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday June 13, 2015 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. The family would like to thank the entire staff of Brookdale for their excellent care.
