Mary Kuta Mock, 100, born September 8, 1921, passed away September 1, 2022. Member of St. Theresa Catholic Church since 1949, also member of St. Theresa Women’s Club. She is preceded in death by her husband, Valentine A. Mock and grandson, Donald Tinney. She leaves behind daughter Linda and husband Ronnie Tinney, two beautiful grandchildren and eight precious great grandchildren. A visitation will be held, Thursday, September 15, 2022, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 6622 Haskell St., Houston, Texas 77007, 10am – 11am. A rosary will be recited at 11:00am. Mass will follow at 11:30am, Rev. Philip P. Loyd celebrating. Rite of Committal to follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery at 1:00pm.
God saw you were getting tired.
And a cure was not to be,
So He put his arms around you.
And whispered, “Come to Me.”
With tearful eyes we watched you.
And saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly.
We could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating.
Hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us.
