My deepest condolences to you both on the loss of your mother.  I remember her well, even over these many years, as a wonderful band parent and caring woman. You and your families are in my thoughts and prayers.

Sorry that this is coming so late... I remember your mom from band and she was an awesome lady... she was always really upbeat and a true supporter.. I pray that God gives you peace with this.  May your mom rest in peace and I know that she will be watching over you Rachel.

I worked in the cafeteria at Crespo Elementary and I remember Mrs. Pena as a very sweet person. She always had a smile. She was one of the most loving people that you would me. To her family looked to the hills from whence cometh your help your help cometh from the Lord. May the Lord give you strenght and peace in your time of bereavement.

I will miss my friend Mary Jane Pena.  My condolences and prayers to her family.  Her absence will be painful, but knowing that she has gone to a better place will make it easier and her memory will always be in our minds and our hearts.

Although it was painful to let her go, Heaven gained a new Angel. I'm so sorry for the loss. Everyone is in my prayers.

My sincerest condolences go out to my friend Rachel & her family during this terrible loss.  I remember your mom always being involved in band but just there by your side & Daniel's. She was there for all the functions, selling tostadas, cheering you on, but your solid supporter! She taught you well amiga, and for that she will always be with you! Now you have an angel to watch over you!

Simple words will never be enough to express how much I love Mary Jane and the entire Ramos/Pena Family.  I was welcomed with open arms into your family and each of you treated me like a sister and old friend.  I will forever be Blessed.  

God was collecting "True Christians" with a heart of gold, big warm smiles, open feelings filled with kindness, loving and sharing.  God wanted beauty and Faithfullness.  He knew that the Ramos/Pena families needed and wanted Mary Jane here forever, but she was tired.  He wanted to take on her pain and reward her for the life she led.  Yes, we love her, but God loved her more. The Father took her home to the shelter of His Care....where she will rest peacefully and without pain in His arms to sweetly live again and await our arrival.  Please be comforted and know that He will gently ease all of your sorrows, heal your hearts and strengthen you for every new tomorrow.  We were All fortunate to have had her in our lives, but her Mother, sisters and brothers,children and grandchildren, were truly Blessed to be a part of her.  She will always be in your hearts!
