Martha Escamilla Barrera

She is preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Escamilla and her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Adrienne E. Barrera and her husband Angel Rojas II; son, Erik Daniel Barrera and wife Jessica Merida. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, Abigail Renee Rojas and Aleah Jade Rojas, Brianna Barrera, and Neziah Daniel Barrera; brother, Samuel Escamilla and wife Sally; nephews, Robert and Thomas Escamilla; nieces, Brandy Escamilla and Erica Escamilla, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

She was a loving mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren, and a gracious stepmother to Rick Barrera. She will be missed by all those that knew her and loved her. Her radiant smile could light up a room and an infectious laugh that could do the same. Martha loved fashion and jewelry along with all kinds of music and dancing. She will be greatly missed.

Her children would like to say thank you to everyone who has reached out and called with their condolences.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, with a 7:00 p.m. rosary service at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Ave., Houston, Texas 77023. A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 7250 Harrisburg Blvd, Houston Texas 77011 followed by a committal service at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Erik Daniel Barrera, Angel Rojas II, Thomas Escamilla, Robert Escamilla, Daniel Escamilla and Rick Barrera.
