Maricela Yanira Vidal, age 54, of Sugar Land, Texas, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023. She was born in Matamoros, Mexico, on August 26, 1969, to Maria Mercedes Aguilera Murillo and Jose Santos Garcia Encinos. She was married to Julian Vidal Campos. Maricela had a passion for traveling, cooking, shopping, and philanthropy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maria Mercedes Garcia Aguilera and Jose Santos Garcia Encinos.
She is survived by her children: Joshua Mora, Julian Vidal, Stephanie Vidal, Melanie Vidal, and Allison Vidal.
Her grandchildren Mia Mora, Alexis Creed, Abigail Vidal, Alana Vidal, and Julian Vidal II.
A visitation for Maricela will be held Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
