Marian is survived by her devoted daughter and son-in-law, Neal and Kathrine Clark Mays, and her son-in-law, Danny White, and nine grandchildren, Scottson, John Patrick, Mary Kathrine, and Anne Elizabeth White, Bonnie Charlotte, Clark, Forrest, Travis, and Elisabeth Mays, and nine great- grandchildren, Carter, Clark, and Patrick White, Oliver and Shepherd Gunn, Major, Melody, Harmony, and Cadence Mays. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband and daughter, Harry Githens Clark and Janet Clark White.
Interment took place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, followed by a Memorial service at 3:00 p.m., at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, 1656 Blalock Road, Houston, TX 77055, with The Reverend Robert P. Goolsby officiating.
