Maria Luisa Tovar, 58, passed away on February 21, 2015 in Houston, TX. She was born on October 21, 1956 to Luis and Guadalupe Tovar. Maria was a caring and generous soul, who always put the needs of others before her own. She worked for Kroger for over 40 years, and offered a smiling face and helpful attitude to anyone who walked in the doors. Maria will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Maria was preceded in death by her father, Luis Tovar. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her mother, Guadalupe Tovar; sisters, Teresa Aguinaga and Juanita Jimenez; partner and life soulmate for 30 years, Pete Lininger; nieces and nephews; brother-in-laws, and countless other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home from 5pm-9pm with a rosary service beginning at 7pm. A funeral service will be held on February 26, 2015 at 10am at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, with interment immediately following.
