Maria was born in Linares, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on October 30, 1944 to Alfredo and Hermalinda Gonzalez.
She had a varied career in packaging, housekeeping and flea market sales. Maria loved laughing, dancing, music and giving great advice to anyone that ever asked – and many did!
Maria loved even more the three daughters that she raised, Maria Sanchez, Yolie Garibay and Gabriela Garibay-Rava.
A Funeral Service will be held at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church, 2400 Wilcrest Drive Houston, Texas 77042 on Monday, June 29, 2020 at 11:00am. Visitation will begin at 10:00am.
Interment will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
