Margaret (Peggy to all that knew her) was born in Marion, Alabama on April 28, 1928. She graduated from William Penn Senior High School, York, Pennsylvania on June 7, 1946.
Margaret enlisted in the Navy where she served as an Airman on the “Giant Plane”, an experimental aircraft. She was married to H.A. White, (Navy, Marine, and Texas Ranger) for 12 years before he was called home by the Lord.
Margaret worked for the 3-M Corporation, before going to Texas Eastern, Gas Pipeline Company from 1969 – 1989, when she retired.
Margaret was a member of Spring Creek Baptist church where she started the church library and also served as the church secretary. She received the Life Time Achievement Award from her church on August 26, 2007.
Margaret had a passion for books, dark chocolate and serving her church, where she remained faithful up to her death.
Margaret is survived by her 3 sons: Rex-wife Sharon, Kraig, Lance - wife Val, and her daughter Waneda.
She has 5 Grandchildren- Rick, Heather, Travis, Rebecca, and Christopher.
She has 9 Great Grandchildren- Lee, Shelby, Katie, Connor, Emma, Isla, Jackson, Blake, and Cade.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, July 8, 2019 at Spring Creek Baptist Church, 1431 Rayford Rd, Spring TX. The Committal service (with Military Honors) will be held at 1:30 PM at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Freeway, Houston TX.
