Margaret Candela LoCascio peacefully passed away on February 8, 2021, in Houston, Texas. Margaret was born in Houston, lived for many years on Long Island, New York and then returned to Houston, where she lived for the rest of her life.
Throughout her life, Margaret was a homemaker and Interior Designer and part owner of Key Carpets in Houston. Her lifelong interests included creating beautiful surroundings and cooking delicious and healthy food for friends and family.
Margaret deeply loved her family and cherished many friendships from childhood to present day friends. She always made time to routinely check in and talk with the many people that she loved.
Margaret was a warm and loving person, always engaging and sometimes provocative, in a good way. She will be greatly missed by friends and family who love her dearly.
Margaret is survived by her brother Nicholas Candela, her three children, Joseph LoCascio, Nicholas LoCascio and Laura Cimino, her grandchildren, Amanda Moore, Nicholas LoCascio, Thomas LoCascio, Christopher Cimino, Samantha Cimino and great grandchildren.
Per her wishes a funeral visitation, or memorial service will not be held in her memory. Margaret’s patron saint was St. Jude and her lifelong charity was St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
