Lura was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend that will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.
She is survived by her son Billy Roach; grandchildren: Brendon Roach and Brittany Black; great grandchildren: Adan Roach, Victoria Roach, Jadyn Black and Brelynn Black. Lura is preceded in death by her husband William Carl Roach; parents Albert and Odessa Johnson and seven sisters.
The family will receive friends for a visitation Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2016 at North Central Baptist Church, 2102 Tidwell Road, Houston, Texas 77093 followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to North Central Baptist Church.
