Luis Alberto Sanchez was born May 17, 1963 to Margil Sanchez and Maria Magdalena DeLa Garza. He entered into eternal rest on November 4, 2017. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Santos DeLaCruz. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Herminia “Mimi” Velasquez; daughter Elizabeth Sanchez and son Luis Sanchez Jr.; siblings Rosa Alvarez and husband Jose, Virgilia Cabrera and husband Enrique, Eduardo Sanchez and wife Tina, Marcella Uzzell and husband Don and Sandra DeLaGarza; mother Maria Magdalena DeLaGarza; aunt Anita Rodriguez; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5pm-9pm, with a rosary at 7pm, on Thursday, November 9, 2017, at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be 10am, Friday, November 10, 2017, at Resurrection Catholic Church, 915 Zoe St., Houston, TX 77020. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery.
