Luis Herrera Castaneda, born Saturday September 7, 1924, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011. He is preceded in death by his sons, Louis Castaneda and Arthur Ray Castaneda. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 30 years, Maria Castaneda; daughter, Alma Castaneda Carnicle and husband John Charles Carnicle; grandchildren, Christopher John Carnicle and Louis Joseph Carnicle; sister, Josefa Castaneda Herrera, brother, Dr. Arturo Castaneda Herrera; niece, Vanessa Castaneda Crain; mother of his children, Gloria Gonzales, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm till 9:00 pm Friday, January 28th at Brookside Funeral Home Chapel of Chimes with a rosary to begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will begin at 3:00 pm Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Brookside Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park
