Louis Rodriguez

Louis Rodriguez, 74, of Porter, TX passed away peacefully, with his children by his side, on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. He was born November 27, 1948 to parents Alfonso and Carmen Rodriguez. He was one of twelve children, six brothers and five sisters.

Louis was a native Houstonian and grew up in the historic 5th ward. This is where he met his beautiful wife Gloria Casas Rodriguez. They were married for 50 years.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Gloria Casas Rodriguez.

Louis is survived by his children, Tina Elizondo and husband Robert, Rebecca Lopez and husband Jorge, Angel Rodriguez and wife Courtney, Andrew Rodriguez and wife Jazmin; grandchildren, Gabriella Elizondo, Ava Elizondo, Gavin Lopez, Riley Lopez, Donovan Rodriguez, Eleanor Rodriguez and Isabella Rodriguez; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Friday, November 24, 2023 from 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Friday, November 24, 2023 at 2:30 PM at Brookside followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park.

Serving as Pallbearers: Louis Arevalo, Jorge Lopez, Pete Rodriguez, Jr., Richard Rodriguez III, Andrew Trinidad, Christopher Trinidad. Honorary Pallbearers: Charlie Telles and Larry Ross.
