Louis Green Jr. was born August 2, 1967 at Charity Hospital in New Orleans Louisiana. He attended Oliver Perry Walker High school and went on to successfully complete a course in professional security training. He has always had a love of music and for over 30 years pursued his dream of becoming a renowned artist. In 1994 he and his group members known as Ve’ Style, released their first album Titled, “I’ll Be There”. Prior to that he formed his very first singing group at the age of 16 called “The Blenders”. He has maintained a very close brotherhood with Trent Williams from Ve’ Style and Joseph Bouttte Childhood friend and one of the original members of The Blenders. Throughout the years, Louis also worked as a welder and foreman for various corporations leading and teaching others to advance in the field.
Louis was a very hard-working man with a very big heart and was extremely dedicated to providing a better life for his family. He would give you the shirt off of his back without giving it a second thought. He was a dedicated husband, father, son and big brother whose siblings affectionately referred to him as “Big Brother Almighty” due to his protective and caring nature. He was always willing to help and would do anything within his means to help those he loved and cared for. Throughout his life he has acquired many friends who quickly became family to him leaving a trail of brothers for life.
After several years of battling failing health, he transitioned from this life of suffering into eternal rest on Sunday, March 21, 2021. Louis was preceded in death by his father, Louis Green Sr, his maternal grandmother, Irene Webb and two maternal aunts, Shirley Webb and Patricia Billy. He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his Wife, Latasha Green, Sons, Louis Green III, Quincy D. Green, Alexander D Green, Daughters, Alena Z Green, Ashley M Wright, Asia M Wright, Stepdaughter, Archell Cheatteam, His Mother, Ziporiah Green, Step father, Lewis Dwyer, brother, Sterling D Green, two sisters, Victoria Y Green Bissig, Vyoncia M Green-Ogunmokun and her husband Samson Ogunmokun, two grandchildren and one on the way, one step grandchild, 11 1st cousins, one aunt, two uncles and a host of dear friends and other relatives.
Louis Green Jr. will forever be loved and missed.
