Dear Phan family, I am so sorry for your loss. I only knew Loan a little over three years, but I felt as though I had known her all my life. In that short time, I have seen what a wonderful daughter, mother, sister and great friend she was and how many lives she touched. She was truly a special person. I shall always be eternally grateful to her and there will always be a special place in my heart for her, as were it not for her I would have never met the love of my life, her sister Chau. It was only with Loan's encouragement and persistence that we ever dated and I shall never forget that. Loan was taken from us far too soon, but we can take comfort knowing that she is with the Lord and we will all be with her again someday. We have lost a great person, but Heaven has gained an angel.

Our family experienced an unimaginable loss.  I will greatly miss my sister-in-law Loan.  She was an extraordinary person.  A giver, kindred spirit and special soul who thought more about others that she did herself.  She did so much for others and asked nothing in return.  She was a second mother to Hunter and Kaelyn and gave them more care and love than anyone could ask for.   My heart breaks for Adam, Mandi and Andrew who lost, not only their Mom, but a best friend.  She was taken far too soon.  I seek comfort in the fact that I know she is with God and that He has a special place in Heaven for a soul like hers.   I will never forget her smile because every time I saw her she was smiling.  Her loss leaves the family with a hole that can not be filled.  We must take solace in the wonderful memories of her, the time we were lucky enough to have with her and know that one day the family will all be reunited in God's Kingdom.
Fly high Loan.  You will be greatly missed.

Loan was a nice person. Although we spoke only a few times, I still remember the family's gathering at Loan's home many years ago with her warm hospitality and the big delicious "pho" bowls that she made. It was just like yesterday. Farewell to her in God's loving hands. She is dearly missed.
