Linda Gail Crawford, 56, of Spring, Texas entered into rest on November 23, 2018. She was born in Houston, Texas on August 30, 1962 to parents Edgar and Ada Hysmith. She married James Crawford on June 29, 1980.
Linda had a career with AIG as an IT Manager, but in every other waking moment she lived to spoil her grandkids, nieces, and nephews. Everyone she knew felt the depth of her affection and were always welcome to share in the warmth of her home and family. Linda was known for her big heart and her curious soul, always eager to immerse herself in the glorious world around her. She loved to explore and dip her toes into the crystal waters of every beach she could find during her cruises. As a Houston native, her hometown was always close to her heart and she remained a loyal fan of the Houston Astros, the Houston Texans, and NASCAR.
Linda was preceded in death by her son James Jr. She is survived by her loving husband James Crawford; daughter Melanie; grandchildren Claudia, Robert, and Adam; siblings James Hysmith, Michael Hysmith, Bob Hysmith, Rick Hysmith, Sherry Joyner, and Lisa Bunch; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on November 30, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. inside the Chapel of American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston Texas 77038, after which her family would like to invite all of Linda’s cherished friends to join them in the sharing of her memory during a reception from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. inside of the Magnolia Room of American Heritage Funeral Home.
