Lila was a beacon of light and loved her faith fiercely. She will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and strength. She dedicated her life to her family, especially caring for her loving husband. Throughout her life, she was resilient, courageous, and grounded in a strong faith that helped her persevere through all of life’s ups and downs. She was well known for her lighthearted and fun-loving spirit. Her smile lit up the room, and she was the life of the party—her humor always made people laugh.
She enjoyed volunteering at St. Mary & St. Moses Abbey, giving her time and service, which brought her both joy and peace. She loved attending senior meetings and participating in the ladies’ choir at church. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy and will be greatly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, extended family and friends.
The family of Lila Rophail would like to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many prayers, comforting messages, calls, and expressions of concern and sympathy you have shown during this time.

Psalm 23
The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul. He leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and staff comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
