She attended Camden Elementary School and in 1955, she graduated from Chester High School. She then moved to Houston where she started working as a waitress at a resturant. It was there she met James Scott and the two married. After their divorce she worked for her Aunt as a cook at the resturant on Dowling St. From there she went to work for Bush Airport until she retired.
She leaves to mourn, one sister, Lee Anna Turner; one brother, James Hubert; a special friend, Jerry Roach and a host of Nieces, Nephews and friends.
