Laura Montgomery Jackson

Life journey for Laura M. Jackson began on March 1, 1938 in Washington,LA. She was one of several children born to the late Mose and Elmer Montgomery. Laura's faith and love for God showed in service to others. A vessel of God, she served Him faithfully. She spent her life helping others as she was led by God to do so continually. On January 26, 1964, she was blessed with the birth of her beautiful daughter Elmer Lynn Scott. She was united in holy matrimony to the late Bernard Jackson on April 7, 1977. Laura M. Jackson took her last breathe on this side of Heaven on February 22, 2012 at 7:00am at the Doctor's Hospital. She will be missed. She is survived by her only child, Elmer Lynn Scott Smith, John Smith (her son-inlaw), grand children; Jonathan Jerome, Jennifer Nicole, and Jessica Lauren, and her 3 great grand children; Janel Janae, Braylyn Rashawn, Jayden Jarrod. Her siblings, Geraldine mallet (Houston, TX), Carolyn Franklin (Beaumont, TX), Reverend Willie Montgomery (Hartford, CN). Nieces; Danielle "Tudy" Mallet and family, Jeneen McCullough and family, Linda Rawls and Family, Pastor Karen Wyatt and family, Stephanie Carter and Family, Yvonne Williams and Family, Nephews; Johnathan McCullough and family. Reynaldo Brown and family, great niece; Raccobi Moore and family, great nephew; Jacoby Moore and family. She also leaves to rejoice in her homegoing a host of other relatives and friends.
