He attended Scarborough High School and graduated from Houston Fire Department Academy, Class 80-B shift where he served for 36+ years until his retirement on September 6, 2016. He had a distinguished career with HFD, most of those with EMS. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and proud firefighter.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Sr. and Ruby Webb and one brother Jodie. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Patricia; daughter, Christie (and Manuel Valley); two grandsons, Brandon Webb (and Sabrina Gonzales) and Austin Linton; two granddaughters, Victoria Campbell, Shawnee (Kevin Rose); two very special great-grandchildren, Brandon and Jayce; one brother, Charles E. Webb Jr.; sisters, Sandra Bobb, Cynthia Kubeczka, and Debbie McCartney (and Ron); one goddaughter, Jamie Stephens and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
Pallbearers will include members of The Houston Fire Department Honor Guard. Honorary Pallbearers are Brandon Webb, Austin Linton, Robbie Webb, Chief Almaguer, Manuel Valley, Paul Wightman, Ron McCartney, Chief Ivy, and Don Gray.
