L E graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1956. L E joined the US Army on December 8, 1961 where he served his country proudly. He had many hobbies in life. Some of his hobbies included fishing, car racing and playing dominoes.
L E is preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Beulah Christian; daughter, Sheryl Ann Christian and brother, Gerald Christian.
He is survived by daughters, Sheila Doherty (Henry), Stacy Villarreal (Tracy); grandchildren, Zak, Steven, Scott, Melanie, Samantha, Patricia; siblings, Joyce Henson (Robert), Daurece Cox (Lawrence); nephews, Gary, Robert, Jr., Gerald, Jr.; nieces, Kim, Lisa; close friend Brenda and a host of extended family and friends.
A visitation for L E will be held Friday, November 4, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. Following the visitation, a Graveside Service is scheduled to begin at 12:00 PM in Brookside Memorial Park followed by burial.
Serving as pallbearers are Robert Henson, Gary Henson, Dereck Henson, Kelby Henson, Michael Kourkubes and John Hudson.
