I’m truly shocked and saddened  to here this news.  Kurt was my neighbor, and always enjoyed running into him and his dogs while he rode around in his golf cart.  A true gentleman and always willing to help.  I’m saddened by his passing and my thoughts are with his family.  

You were such a special person. You are still in our hearts. 

Just learning of Kurt's passing...he was such a mentor to me in the early days at Access Houston,  and then working with him later on all sorts of productions. 
He always paid great attention to detail and went the extra mile to make the end product something to be proud of. 
 Kurt was also a student of his craft, constantly learning and improving.
 As mentioned by others, he was very caring and considerate of others and I wish that I had kept in closer contact with him these past few years.
He will certainly be missed by everyone  fortunate enough to have known him.

It is still hard fo me to believe you are no longer with us here in this world these last months since your journey to your heavenly home, yet I  know being with your Lord and our family who have gone before must be filled with such jubilation to your homecoming.  When I remember you as  a darling little baby ,  little boy, and through the years to manhood I remember how much all of us loved your caring ways, your ability to  engage and make your fellow man feel important and loved.  You had such a gift at making sure things were done so others would  not have to worry!  You were a gift to all of us  and are greatly missed!  When I think of you I smile  with such pride I had you for my cousin, such a blessing to me and those whose lives you touched here!  Love and miss you  precious Kurt!

I'm so blessed to have known such a kind, thoughtful, generous, humble and brilliant man.  Kurt, working with you over the last 9 years has been a pleasure.  Thanks for always taking time for a friendly conversation in the midst of all our busy days.  I will miss you.  Rest in peace, my friend.  

Kurt was incredibly special and kind-hearted. I'll never forget how he went to my grandmother's funeral in Louisiana to take pictures and be there to support my family during a difficult time. That meant more than he ever knew, especially because I was out of the country at the time and wasn't able to attend myself. I'm really sad he's gone but I'm thankful to have known and worked with him for so many years. He will be missed so much.

Kurt was truly a kind and loving human being.  We don't run into many of those people in life.  He was a good guy if ever there was a good guy, and he will be missed by so many, many people.  He was always looking out for those who fell between the cracks, like the children who are being sheltered by Child Protective Services.  The most amazing thing to me is the day he died.  September 11.  He never wanted our country to forget about tragedy that occurred on this very day just a few years ago.   The loss of life caused by the crashing of those planes into the twin towers and also the loss of the heroic men and women who died in the aftermath.  Those Mr. Fred Rogers called "The Helpers".   Now there is one more reason to remember this day.  Our lives are so short.  Kurt was always mindful of that.  He brought so much joy just with little things he did, and he let everyone know how special they were to him.  He and I talked quite a bit about not having enough time....and how we needed to take advantage of the time we have.    Kiss your children, hold your spouse close to you for an extra second or two, visit with your parents - tell everyone in your life that they matter.  Thanks Kurt.

My heart absolutely breaks on hearing this news.  Kurt was such a blessing to know and I cherish the memories.  He made each day special -- I honestly think that was his motto.  He just didn't let the little things get to him and was always willing, and ABLE, to find another way to get something done.  Kurt never let road blocks stop him in his work, he just found another way.  I loved working with him on our media trainings at Exxon Mobil Chemical.  Heaven has definitely gained an angel and we have lost a friend way too soon.  Until we meet again my friend!

Kurt had a heart of gold. He made us all better, and always gave of his best to help others shine.

He will be so very missed.

Such good memories, 4-wheeling, bird hunting with his hand me down long tom. Hot rods and craw fish. What a great friend, you will always be in my memories .


Kurt was such a great guy to be around and have around. Always good humoured - with a little giggle for such a big man. I only got glimpses of his secret life as a good samaritan -- and that was already enough to be deeply impressed. I will miss him.

I’m so blessed to have had Kurt in my life. He has always been so supportive and caring to myself and my husband. The world is a better place because of Kurt. His positivity, generosity, and compassion were like none other, and will be missed beyond measure. There’s no doubt Heaven shines brighter because of our Kurt. 

Kurt - You’re now flying higher than the stars and what a view you must have. Rest in Paradise, my sweet friend. 

My prayers are with all of Kurt’s family and friends during this difficult time. May God give you comfort and peace.

Kurt and I were part of the Houston Chevelle club together and we known each other for 13yrs and he even came to my wedding also came my house when my wife an I closed on our first house. He was such a good friend to me and he will be greatly missed by my wife and I. I wish condolences on your family for the tragic loss of Kurt
