

Kenneth Antoine Howard beloved son, brother, father, uncle,, cousin, coworker, and friend, departed into heaven peacefully on March 28, 2024 at the age of 62. Born on March 25, 1962, to Alice M. Howard and Charles E. Howard. Kenneth affectionately known as “Bear” was a beacon of light in the lives of his family and friends. His infectious laughter and compassionate nature touched the hearts of everyone he met. He had a unique ability to make those around him feel valued and loved. He brought joy and love to all who knew him.
Kenneth believed in hard work. A dedicated employee of Baker Hughes for over 13 years, DHL for 5 years, and was employed with Geodis until his passing. Kenneth's professional accomplishments were matched only by his unwavering dedication to his family. It was during his time at Baker Hughes that Kenneth crossed paths with the love of his life, Elaine. Their love story was one of friendship, devotion, and unwavering commitment, and together they built a life filled with love and cherished memories.
An avid fisherman with a passion for boats, Kenneth found solace and joy in pursuing his passions. Whether he was out on the ocean seeing what he’d catch or ushering in ministry weekly with a smile on his face, he did so with enthusiasm and dedication.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his father, Charles Howard, and his grandmothers, Christine Shelton and Alice Horton.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his beloved wife, Elaine Howard, whose love was the cornerstone of his life. Kenneth's devotion extended to his mother, Alice Howard, and his children: Kenneth Howard Jr., Kennethea Howard, and Trinesha Howard. Additionally, he embraced his bonus children, Kevin and Tameia Brown, with open arms.
In his expansive family circle, Kenneth was a beloved brother to Katherine Howard, Christine Howard-Moore, Pamela Howard-Hunter, Cassandra Howard-Grace, Margosha Howard, Tuesday Howard, Kimberly Howard, Rayford Howard, Rayshell Howard, and sister in law Esther Brown. His presence will be deeply missed by his grandchildren, Z'Kyera Posey, Norielle Howard, and Kaiden Jones, as well as a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Though Kenneth may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
May he rest in eternal peace.
A visitation for Kenneth will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at VICTORY CHRISTIAN CHURCH, 11420 Cutten Rd, Houston, TX 77066. The funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The committal will be held from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at PARADISE NORTH CEMETERY, 10401 W Montgomery Rd, Houston, TX 77088.
