Keith Royce Schield

He was born on September 30, 1950, in Houston, Texas, to Leslie and Vivian Schield.

Keith, also known as "Skipjack" Schield, had many hobbies, including surfing, fishing, boating, camping, playing softball, and anything to do with the outdoors. He was an avid fan of the Houston Astros and the Houston Texans. He was best known for his love for his family and his strong work ethic. He worked as a mechanical assembler in the oil and gas industry, spending 34 years with Halliburton, as well as Schlumberger and Wellex.

Keith is survived by his wife, Sharon Ann Schield; his daughters Marisa Martin (James Martin IV), Felicia Justice (Rusty), Renee Johnson (Rickey); his sister Gail Henney (Mike); his brother Rodney Schield; his grandchildren Kristin Justice, Brittany Justice, Moriah Johnson, Bethany Shepherd (Joshua), Tyler Payne, Ashley Payne, James Martin V, Great-grandbaby Shepherd on the way, and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Leslie Schield and his mother Vivian Fay Schield.

A visitation for Keith will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home - Champions, 3410 Cypress Creek Parkway, Houston, TX 77068, followed by a Celebration of Life from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
