Kathryn Louise Norton Crownover, age 78, of Cypress, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025. Born in Rome, Georgia on June 7, 1946, Kathryn was a devoted mother, grandmother, and aunt whose love for her family knew no bounds.
Kathryn is survived by her children: daughter Anna Quiles and her husband Sal; daughter Diana Kerskie and her husband Ernie; and son Scott Crownover and his wife Natasha. Kathryn’s grandchildren, Paulina and Taylor Kerskie, and Makayla and Kendall Crownover, brought her immense joy and filled her heart with love. She also leaves behind her beloved nephew Peter Crownover.
Kathryn had a successful career as a real estate agent in Georgia before relocating to Texas, where she made an impact by recruiting medical professionals for rural areas. She even went on to run her own recruiting company, a testament to her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to serving communities in need.
Known for never meeting a stranger, Kathryn could talk to anyone for hours, effortlessly building connections wherever she went. She loved to have a good time and share a laugh, brightening the lives of all who crossed her path. Her deep care for her family was evident in everything she did. Kathryn instilled in her children and grandchildren the ability to persevere through any challenge and live life with resilience and grace.
Kathryn will be remembered for her strength, sense of humor, and the lasting legacy of determination and courage she leaves with her family and friends.
A private memorial service will be held in her honor.
