Karen "Kacy" Lynn Rodriguez

Kacy was born in Pasadena, Texas to Bennie and Virginia Ruth Conley. She was raised in Houston and Missouri City, Texas. Kacy attended Dulles High School, Sugar Land, TX but graduated from Hastings High School in Houston. She then attended The University of Houston and graduated with a degree in Education.

Kacy started work for the law firm of Fulbright and Jaworski in Houston during college and continued there after graduation. She was able to fulfill her dream of teaching over the last 20+ years while employed at Congregation Beth El, Missouri City. Initially, Kacy worked as a Pre-school Teacher, and later became the school Director.

She married Richard Rodriguez in 1999 at The Little White Wedding Chapel, Las Vegas, NV, and together, they blended their two families which included Lisa Rodriguez, Raven Shead (husband Ryan), Taylor Goldenthal, Melissa Gonzalez (husband Justin) and Alli Bruening (husband Brett). Kacy was a wonderful wife, mother, step-mother, sister, aunt, teacher, friend and mentor. She was loved and respected by all. There are not enough words to describe Kacy.

She is survived by her husband, children, step-children, sister Deborah Hollis (husband Robert), sister Patricia Easter (husband David), sister Bonnie Ruth Conley and several nieces and nephews.
