Karen Robinson was born on August 10, 1957 and passed on August 5, 2022. She will be missed and held dearly in the hearts of her family, relatives, friends and the nurses who cared for her.
Karen attended the University of Texas at Austin where she studied Film and Media Production. Her film and production talents took her first to Utah, and then to Colorado where she further developed her love and talent for filming wild animals in their natural habitats. Some of her film work was later used in Hollywood film productions.
As a child, Karen always looked forward to the many family vacations. She held such fond memories of those trips with her grandparents, parents, brother and cousins. She also loved spending holidays and summers at the family’s beach house.
Karen was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Joyce Lippman, Baytown, Texas. She is survived by her father, Glenn Lippman, Houston, Texas; three sons, Ashley Robinson, Baytown, Texas, Nathan Robinson (his wife, Candace and their daughter, Arwen), Deer Park, Texas, and Nolan Robinson (his wife, Victoria and their son, Ethan), Houston, Texas; her brother, Kyle Lippman (his wife, Janna and their children, daughter, Jordan and son, Keaton). Karen is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Private family graveside services honoring Karen will be held at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, located at 13001 Katy Freeway, on Saturday, August 13th, at 9:00 a.m. Prior to the graveside services, a private family viewing will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. with a procession to graveside following at 8:45 a.m.
