Julia Carolyn Williams

Julia Carolyn Williams went home to be with the Lord on May 13, 2014 and born December 3, 1922, in Katy, Texas. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband Charles “Charlie” Williams, Jr.; she is also preceded in death by her brother Thomas Alderson and sister, Mary Sudie Burleson.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Maureen Turner and husband Clarence, Sarah Burris, Scott Williams and wife Kendra; her grandchildren, Jeb Burris, Mandy Kisiel and her husband James, Bart Turner and wife Stacie, Ashley Kirksey; and her great grandchildren, Shelby, Meghan, and Sam Kisiel, Jack and Bo Kirksey.

She was a lifelong member of St. Marks United Methodist Church. She loved to cook and was known for her pies. Her greatest pleasure was caring for her family. She will forever be missed by her loved ones.

Visitation with family will be 5:00 – 8:00 pm at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home. Friends are invited to attend her graveside service on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 10:00 am at Woodlawn Cemetery at 8010 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77024. Immediately following the service, all are invited to share memories at a location to be announced.
