Judy Marie Burroughs

Judy attended Madison High School in Rochester, NY and graduated in the class of 1962. She worked for many years in various positions in the banking industry and retired from HSBC in 2003. After retirement, she was a volunteer at Life’s Solutions in Hamlin, NY and a member of the Hamlin VFW Women’s Auxiliary. She also spent many of her retirement years living in Belleview, Florida. Judy enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren whenever possible. She loved cooking, bowling and surrounded herself with plants, flowers and the color orange.

Judy was predeceased by her parents Vincent and Helen Burroughs, and brothers Erich and David Burroughs.

She is survived by her children Karen (Bob) Shufelt and John (Bel) Morreale; her grandchildren Megan (Kyle) Derry, Chelsy Shufelt, Evan Morreale and Lara Morreale. She was also survived by her sister Kathleen Burroughs, brother Karl Burroughs and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Judy's life took place at 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the Hamlin VFW Post #6703, 1739 Lake Road N. in Hamlin, New York, 14464, (585) 964-2005.
