Juanita Guerrero Cavazos (maiden name) was born to father Carlos Guerrero and mother Santos Cavazos, January 9, 1946, in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She graduated from Academia de Cultura en Belleza on May 25, 1969 and received a degree in Cosmetology. Juanita was married to Pedro Reyna in 1969, and they lived together in Detroit, Michigan and Houston, Texas. Together they raised five children.

• Claudia Piña (second daughter), son in law Jorge Piña, granddaughter Kyla Serrato, grandson Fabian Serrato, granddaughter Valeria Piña, granddaughter Allison Piña , granddaughter Camila Piña.
• Alberto Reyna (second son), daughter in law Leticia Reyna, granddaughter Desarey Reyna (spouse Alberto Robles, great grandson Enzo Robles), granddaughter Alyssa Reyna, grandson Nicholas Reyna.
• Carlos Reyna (third son), granddaughter Claryssa Reyna

Juanita Reyna worked for Volkswagen of America in the early 1990’s, she also worked at Cintas-Work & Uniform Apparel. The greatest part of her life was providing and caring for her five children and grandchildren. Her sound advice and guidance through tribulations, her endless love and her heart of gold made her family whole. She enjoyed dancing, shopping for clothes and traveling to Mexico to see her siblings and family.
