Juanita V. Pruyn passed away on December 26, 2014. She was born in Austin, TX on December 9, 1928. She is survived by her husband of 52 years Thaddeus D. Pruyn, her sister Antonia Perez, her daughter Anne-Marie Bozzacco and husband Mark of Charlotte, NC, her son Thomas Pruyn Pruyn and wife Bernadette of Pearland, TX and six grandchildren; Antonio, Joshua, Francesca Juanita, Samuel, Andrew and Jonathan. Juanita enjoyed traveling having been throughout Europe, including the Soviet Union and even climbed the Great Wall of China. She was an avid bridge player, enjoyed working her crossword puzzles and giving large parties for family and friends. Visitation will be Friday, January 2, 2015, 6pm – 8pm at the Heights Funeral Home. The funeral is scheduled for Saturday, 10am, Heights Chapel. The interment will follow at Historic Hollywood Cemetery. May she rest in peace.
