Joyce Marie Alvarado, 76, born in Memphis, TN passed away Saturday April 6, 2019 at her home in Tomball, Texas. She was the owner of Joyce’s Stucco Design for over 30 years in the Spring Branch area. After retirement she enjoyed her grandchildren, great grandchildren, tending to her plants, listening to her wind chimes, enjoying the outside and attending her church Fairbanks Church of Christ, which she has been a member.
She is survived by her husband Richard Alvarado and her children Pattie Mahan and boyfriend Eric Henn, Debbie Wiedemann and husband Robert Wiedemann, Tammy Mayes and husband Tony Mayes and Alex Alvarado; grandchildren Tonia Brookshire and husband Ronnie Brookshire, Maria Lovrek and husband Joe Lovrek, Joshua Mahan and girlfriend Sara Allen, Alex Mahan and wife Crysten Mahan, Shelbi Gehring and husband Ryan Gehring, Ty Hadley, Miranda Agee and boyfriend Ryan Jones, Cody, and Jake; great-grandchildren Cheyenne Brookshire, Logan Brookshire, MiaBella Dutka, Braxton Gehring, Zack Lovrek, Dustin Mahan and her Guinea Pig “Cookie”.
We want to personally thank the staff at Memorial Hermann Hospital @ Memorial City with the wonderful care that was given, especially her personal physician for many years, Dr. Aga Kuliev.
Joyce touched the lives of her family and friends with her kindness and generosity. She will be dearly remembered.
A celebration of Joyce’s life will be held Sunday, April 14, 2019 at 2:00 pm in The Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway Houston, Texas 77024.
