Joe was born on July 3, 1947 in Houston, Tx to Joseph J. Montalbano Jr and Rosalie Scalise. He was married to Carlene Dulaney on May 11, 1968 in Houston, Tx. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be greatly missed.
Joe was a member of the Air National Guard, and attended University of Houston. He built a successful career of 47 years in the cutting tool industry and was highly regarded for his knowledge. Joe was a hard working man and never met a stranger.
Family and friends were important in his life and he was the happiest when surrounded by them. He lived a good life with many friends. He loved the outdoors, enjoyed hunting and fishing, but playing golf was his passion. Joe also loved to travel, cruise and visit the mountains. Many nights he would sit and read his Bible and he found comfort in that and his rosary, especially in this last year.
Joe is survived by his wife, Carlene Montalbano; daughters, Reneau Elsworth and husband, Earl Myrick and Tracy Ross; grandchildren, Jacob Elsworth, Morgan Elsworth and Alex Ross; sister, Mary Bippert, mother-in-law, Julene Dulaney; and many other family members who loved him very much.
