Jose Garcia

Jose Garcia, 92, of Houston, Texas, passed away March 18, 2023. He was born in Brownsville Texas on January 5, 1931 to Region and Paula Garcia. He was married to Ninfa Zamarripa Garcia for 60 years. Jose Garcia was mostly self-employed as a Roofer.

He was a member of Armed Forces of the United States, Army from January 18, 1951 to December 31, 1952 and with United States Army Reserve from January 1, 1953 to November 16, 1956.

He enjoyed spending time with family and took joy in watching his Grandchildren grow.

He was preceded in death by Parents Regino and Paula Garcia, Wife Ninfa Zamarripa Garcia, Siblings

Juanita Hernandez and husband Bardo, Gumecindo Garcia and wife Ernestina, Alfredo Garcia, Consuelo Mayoga and husband Miguel, Rogerio Garcia and wife Dora, Alberta Lerma and husband Felipe Adan Lerma and Sister Aurora Garcia

He is survived by Sibling Espiridion Garcia and wife Dolores, sister-in-law Rebecca Garcia, Son David Garcia wife Monica Ramirez-Garcia , nephews Thomas Elliott Garcia and David Francisco Garcia, Son Joseph Garcia and wife Sylvia Garcia, nephews Joseph Alexander Garcia, Stephen Anthony Garcia and Matthew Adam Garcia.

A visitation for Jose will be held Monday, March 27, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, March 28, 2023 starting at 1:00 PM at All Saints Catholic Church, 215 E 10th St, Houston, TX 77008. A committal service will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
