John Wayne Smith, age 76, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015. Born in San Angelo, Texas, he was an outdoors man who loved to scuba dive, and he worked as an Insurance Salesman throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, John T. and Sybil Smith; and brother, Eugene Smith.. Survived by sons, Vince Smith, Troy Smith, and Rickie Martin and wife Tiffany; grandchildren, Rudy and Elizabeth Moore; brother Archie Smith; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 1, 2015, followed by the Celebration of Life Funeral Service at 2:30 p.m., in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. The Graveside Service will be 2:00 p.m., the next day, Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Pecan Wells Cemetery on FM 2005 in Hamilton, Texas.
