Elvie,  It's been years, late 70’s, since we met.  I was truly saddened to hear of John’s passing.  He was a great guy and always smiling and helpful.  When I was living in Houston we went on a dove shoot down in Kennedy, good quality time.  Lots of dove and I learned a tremendous amount about the surveying practice.  He will be missed.  God rest his sole.

I was sorry to hear of Johns' passing.  We shared stories relating to my days at Dixie Carriers and Western Towing Company from time to time. I know that he will be missed by all of his friends and coworkers in the industry.

Elvie, we had dinner with the Fanchers the other evening, remembering some favorites at Braeswood and your names were mentioned. How saddened I was to then read of John's death. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I was very sad to hear of John's passing. He was the first marine surveyor I met when I was a young lawyer many years ago and I was incredibly impressed with everyting about him. As I came to get to know him, that first impression never changed and I liked him even more. He was great man and I will miss him.
