Jack was born on St. Patrick's Day in Cranston, RI, the son of Irish immigrants Ellen & Cornelius Enright. He endured a tough childhood and began supporting himself in his pre-teens through hard work and street smarts. He remained in Rhode Island until he was in his late 20s at which point he raced bikes for Harley Davidson Motorcyles. He also met and married his wife of 39 years, the late Marguerite Claudette Coderre "Peggy" Enright. They moved to Houston, Texas where they raised three sons and ran the successful Texon Motor Center for more than 20 years. Jack was an avid sportsman and traveler who enjoyed hunting and deep sea and fresh water fishing throughout his life. He was generous to those in need and he frequently supported Catholic Charities, the Houston Rodeo and MD Anderson Cancer Center. Jack is preceded in death by his wife Peggy and his oldest son Glen Joseph Enright. He is mourned by son Dean James Enright and daughter-in- law LueAnn Walter (Houston) ; son Jeff Marc Enright and daughter-in-law Angela and grandchildren Jake and Camille (all of Plano, TX ); brother Neil Enright (Cranston, RI); dear companion and friend Jean Dement (Houston); and countless friends who often joined him for St. Patrick's Day birthday celebrations. A special thank you is given by the family to Dr. William C. Franklin who served as Jack's personal physician for more than 30 years.
