Former Texas resident, John D, Hatch, 53, died October 21, 2019, at his home in Richmond, Texas.
Born in Portland, Maine on November 8, 1965, the son of James Franklin, Jr and Priscilla Olive Hatch. He grew up in Concord, New Hampshire.
He was employed by Varco in California in 1998 and moved to Houston, Texas in 2001. He has worked with NOV (formerly Varco) for 21 years. His co-workers became his family and friends and he was admired for his passion, dedication and knowledge of his work.
He is survived by his son, Nathan and 8 cats (Jingles, Grayson, PB, Frosty, Puffy, MD, Tiny and Simba); brothers Doug and Jim; nephews and niece.
