John Milton Gilliam

John attended Berachah Church. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Catherine Gilliam and a brother, Winsted Gilliam. He is survived by his children, John Malcolm Gilliam, Gene Gilliam, Cathy Jones and her husband David; daughters-in-law, Linda and Norma Gilliam; grandchildren, John Marcus Gilliam and his wife Sara, Lindsay, Stephanie and Natalie Gilliam; great-grandchildren, Jace and Lilly Gilliam; devoted niece, Donna Malcolm and a brother, Jack Glen Gilliam.

Visitation with the family was held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 29, 2014 at Waltrip Funeral Directors, 1415 Campbell Road in Houston, where funeral services began at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 30, in the funeral home chapel. Graveside services and interment followed at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 13800 Westheimer.
